How can I make a reservation?
There are several ways to book your stay:
- On our website: select your dates of stay and choose between a pitch or rental accommodation. Booking is quick and easy, and payment by credit card is completely secure.

Can I pay by any other method than credit card?
Yes, you can pay by:
- Bank transfer: The campsite’s bank details will be provided on the payment page when you make your reservation or sent by email once your reservation request has been accepted.
- Vacation vouchers: to be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt directly to the campsite address
- Chèques Vacances Connect: instant payment by phone is possible
- Bank check: to be sent by mail with the completed and signed reservation contract that you will have received by email
Can I choose where I will be located on the campground?
It is not possible to choose a specific number, but you can still indicate your preferences when making your reservation. We will do our best to accommodate you based on availability.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, a deposit of 30% is required to confirm your reservation request.
When and how do I pay the balance for my stay?
The balance must be paid no later than 6 weeks before your arrival.
Can I pay for my stay in installments after the deposit?
Yes, you can make flexible payments each month if you wish, up to 6 weeks before your arrival. Each time you make a payment, you will receive a confirmation email with your invoice. Several payment methods are accepted:
- Credit card
Directly on our website, which you can access via the link received in your booking confirmation or by clicking on the “Booking” tab at the top right and entering your file number and the surname used when making the booking.

- Bank transfer
You can make a monthly transfer, specifying the name of your reservation and the dates of your stay as a reference.

We recommend that you send them by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt directly to the campsite address.

What is cancellation insurance for?
Cancellation insurance allows you to be reimbursed for any sums paid in the event of unforeseen circumstances occurring before your departure.
It covers cancellation costs for a fee of 2.9% % of the total amount of the séjour, whether for rental accommodation or a bare pitch. This guarantee offered by the campsite must be taken out at the time of booking.
It may apply in the following situations (non-exhaustive list):
- Medical reasons: serious illness, serious accident, or death of a family member. Complications due to pregnancy.
- Personal reasons: summons for the adoption of a child, a resit exam or an organ transplant, etc.
- Professional reasons: cancellation or change of paid vacation dates, redundancy or contractual termination, professional transfer, obtaining a job, etc.
- Serious damage to your vehicle: within 96 hours before the first day of your stay.

Can I add this insurance after I have made my reservation?
It is not possible to add cancellation insurance once the reservation has been made. Cancellation insurance must be purchased at the time of booking.
How can I change my reservation?
Whatever change you wish to make, it must be requested by email or telephone from the campsite.
For a change to the date of stay:
- Extending the length of stay is subject to availability and rates in effect at the time of the request.
- Shortening the length of stay is considered a partial cancellation and will be subject to the terms and conditions for cancellation and interruption of stay.
For other changes (accommodation, addition of participants, a pet, a vehicle, etc.), only the campsite will confirm whether this is possible.
How do I cancel my reservation?
Send your cancellation request directly to the campsite by email to the following address: contact@camping-helios.com. If you have taken out cancellation insurance, we will provide you with the insurance company’s contact details so that you can file a claim with them and send them your supporting documents. No refunds will be made without cancellation insurance.
Practical information
What time can I arrive at the campground?
- For rentals: arrival from 4 p.m., departure before 10 a.m.
- For camping pitches: arrival from 2 p.m., departure before 12 noon.
Can I arrive before the times indicated?
However, if you arrive before these times, you can enjoy the campsite facilities after completing the check-in formalities. We will let you know as soon as your pitch or rental accommodation is available.
Is it possible to arrive in the evening or at night?
Late arrivals are possible.
If you arrive after the reception desk closes, please contact us by phone and we will tell you what to do.
Do I need to pay a deposit upon arrival?
Yes, we ask for a deposit on the day of your arrival. The deposit can be paid in various ways: by check or by credit card imprint.
- For rentals: on the day of your arrival, you will be asked for a deposit of €270 (€200 deposit for accommodation and wristbands + €70 cleaning deposit, except for the BAHIA, BAHIA PRESTIGE, CHALET OTTAWA, and SUPER RIVIERA models: €90 for the cleaning deposit, making a total deposit of €290). If you do not wish to clean your rental yourself, we offer a cleaning package for €70 or €90 depending on the model (to be booked in advance with reception).
An additional cleaning deposit of €60 will be required if you have a pet. This deposit will be retained if dog hair is found in the accommodation, particularly on the blankets.
- For bare pitches: on the day of your arrival, you will be asked for a deposit of €15 per campsite access bracelet (for example, a deposit of €60 if there are 4 of you). Wearing the bracelet is compulsory and it must be returned at the end of your stay.
Where can I find a map of the campground?
You can view the campsite map directly on our website in the downloadable documents section.
A paper copy will also be given to you upon arrival at reception.
Can I have a second vehicle on my plot?
The rate includes parking for one vehicle on your pitch. A second vehicle may be parked inside the campground for an additional fee and subject to availability.
Otherwise, your vehicle must be parked in the outdoor parking lot opposite the campground.
What time do I need to vacate my accommodation or pitch?
- For rentals: you must go to reception before 10 a.m. to return your key and have your wristbands cut off.
- For camping pitches: you must go to reception before 12 noon to have your wristbands cut off.
Is it possible to enjoy the campground on the afternoon of the day of departure?
You can use the facilities on the day of your departure. We ask that you park your vehicle outside the campground and come to have your wristbands cut only at the time of your final departure and before the reception desk closes.
Can I leave early in the morning or the night before before the reception opens?
The reception desk must be notified of your departure. We will provide you with an envelope to place in the mailbox containing the key to your accommodation and your wristbands.
Is an inventory carried out at the time of departure?
An inventory of your accommodation will be carried out after your departure and your deposit will be returned within 48 hours of your departure if there is no damage or missing items.
When and how will I get my deposit back?
In the case of a deposit by check: we can destroy your check and send you an email confirming its destruction, or return your check to you by mail with a crossed line through it.
In the case of a deposit by credit card: we will cancel the card imprint and send you an email confirming that the card has been returned and not debited.
I forgot something at the campsite. What should I do?
If you forget or lose a personal item, please contact us as soon as possible by phone or email. We can send the item back to you by Colissimo parcel service, subject to conditions. You are responsible for paying the shipping costs, which must be settled before shipment.
How can I obtain the invoice for my stay?
The final bill can only be issued at the end of your stay. You can request it at reception the day before your departure.

When do reservations open for next year?
Reservations open in December for the following year.
If you were satisfied with the location or accommodation you stayed in during your vacation, at the end of your stay you can request to reserve the same location or rental and the same dates for the following year (information available at reception).
Accommodations and campsites
What amenities are included in the accommodations?
All accommodations are equipped to ensure you have a comfortable stay, regardless of the type of accommodation. As a general rule, you will find:
- A fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, etc.)
- Dishes and kitchen utensils
- A table, chairs, garden furniture, and a covered terrace or terrace with a parasol
- Beds with mattresses, pillows, and blankets
- Storage space
- A bathroom with a shower, sink and separate or shared toilet
Air conditioning, television, dishwasher and deck chairs may or may not be included, depending on the accommodation chosen.

Are sheets and towels provided in the accommodations?
No, they are not provided, but you can rent them from our partner company, located in Vias. IDEALOC34 will deliver your reserved equipment directly to your accommodation/campsite.

Is my baby counted in the total number of participants?
Yes, babies are included in the total number of people staying in the accommodation, regardless of their age.
Please note that for safety and insurance reasons, the total number of guests must never exceed the maximum capacity indicated, even if a baby cot is provided. Please remember to declare the presence of your baby when making your reservation.
How do I make a reservation if my equipment is longer than 7.50 meters?
If your equipment (motorhome, caravan, or tent) is longer than 7.50 meters, we strongly recommend that you indicate the exact dimensions of your vehicle in the space provided so that we can check the accessibility of the available pitches and their compatibility with the dimensions of your vehicle.
This will enable us to allocate you a suitable pitch with easy access.
Is a baby counted in the total number of people on the site?
Yes, babies are included in the total number of people allowed on the pitch, regardless of their age. They must be registered at the time of booking.
For safety and insurance reasons, the maximum capacity stated for each pitch cannot be exceeded.
We remind you that all participants (including young children) must be declared at the time of booking.
How many people are included in the price of a pitch?
The price displayed for a pitch is for 2 people.
Any additional persons (children, adults, or babies) are subject to a supplement, the amount of which varies depending on the season.
Furthermore, the number of persons is limited to a maximum of 6 per pitch, including babies. This rule applies for reasons of comfort, safety, and regulations.
Are pets allowed on the campground?
Yes, pets are allowed, provided they are kept on a leash and have been vaccinated. Each owner must be able to present an up-to-date vaccination record and have insurance. It is forbidden to leave an animal alone on a pitch, tied up or locked in a car or rental accommodation. Category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited.
What is the additional charge for a pet?
Prices are per night:
€2 from April 25 to June 30 and from September 1 to September 26
€3 from July 1 to July 17 and from August 16 to August 31
€4 from July 18 to August 15
Is the campsite equipped for people with reduced mobility?
Camping Hélios is fully equipped to welcome guests with reduced mobility. All our facilities are accessible via access ramps: reception, bar-restaurant, water park.
We can also provide you with a pool chair to help you get into the water (Handymoove) in our water park.
For our camping guests, we have a private bathroom facility, the key to which we can provide on request upon your arrival.
For rental accommodation, we offer the Life mobile home for 4/6 people with 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, and television, which is specially designed to facilitate access for people with disabilities.
Swimming, entertainment, and activities
Are there activities offered during the day and in the evening?
It’s impossible to get bored at Helios campground! Younger guests can let off steam at the playground with a slide and swings, cool off in the paddling pool, enjoy the multi-sports field, and take part in activities with the children’s entertainer. Meanwhile, parents can get together for sports tournaments, memorable games of pétanque, aquagym or yoga classes with the sports instructor.
In the evening, the bar terrace is the scene of themed evenings. This is an opportunity for the whole family or friends to get together for numerous shows (cabaret, magic, hypnosis, children’s shows, concerts), theme nights, karaoke, dance parties, foam parties, and even snow parties in a friendly atmosphere.
Are there any activities outside of July and August?
Yes, for long weekends such as Ascension Day and Pentecost.
Are activities included in the stay?
Yes, the activities listed in the campground program are supervised by the campground’s entertainment teams and are free of charge.
Some additional services may be offered by outside providers (pony rides, outdoor activities): these are subject to a fee and are clearly identified as such on the schedule or on site.
Where can I find the campground's entertainment program?
The entertainment program is posted weekly on our social media accounts.
It is also posted on site, at the reception desk or in the common areas.
What sports facilities are available at the Hélios campground?
- A multi-sport field

Sports tournaments are regularly organized there.
For cycling enthusiasts, there are numerous signposted routes starting from the campsite, allowing you to explore the area around Viassois. Water sports enthusiasts will find pedal boats, windsurf boards, canoes, paddleboards, and more available for hire nearby.
Do you have a water slide?
Yes, we have a water slide in the water park.
Do you have a swimming area suitable for toddlers?
Yes, there is a paddling pool.
Are the pools heated?
Yes.
Is the aquatic area supervised?
Yes, in July and August.
Are swim shorts allowed in swimming pools?
No, swim shorts are not permitted in the aquatic area.
How many meters away from the sea are you?
We are 150 meters from the beach.
Services and catering
What types of shops are there at Camping Hélios?
At the Hélios campsite, you will find all the services you need for a successful vacation. A bar is available for you to enjoy a drink with family or friends. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and offers set menus or a varied à la carte menu accompanied by delicious wines from the Hérault and Languedoc regions. If you don’t feel like cooking, a takeaway service is also available. Right next to the water park, the snack bar “La Paillotte” offers crêpes, ice cream, paninis, fries, cold drinks, cocktails, and more for you to enjoy on site.
There is also a grocery store on site selling essential items, bread and pastries, postal services, newspapers, and a wealth of local and regional tourist information.
Are services available during the off-season?
Yes, our shops are open even in the low season, except for the snack bar “La Paillote” on the ponds.
Is Wi-Fi available and is there a charge for it?
Yes, we offer WiFi access to our guests for an additional fee.
