Roman town at the heart of the Gard
During a
visit to Nîmes, you’ll be travelling through Roman history. The amphitheatre is
one of the best kept monuments from the Roman era. Its square house, the
fountain’s gardens, the Roman city walls, the castellum, the temple of Diana are a few more of the
remains of Antiquity. And not to forget, near Nîmes: the famous aqueduct with exceptional
dimensions.
